First Aid, CPR, and AED Training

Someone goes into sudden cardiac arrest every two minutes in the United States. In cardiac arrest, the heart’s rhythm becomes erratic and the heart can’t pump oxygenated blood to the brain or other vital organs. The victim collapses. Unless a normal rhythm is restored immediately, death is practically inevitable. The human brain is known to survive only 4 to 6 minutes without adequate oxygen before significant damage occurs. Paramedics, more than likely, will not arrive in time to prevent damage or death.

This is where City Wide’s CPR/First Aid/AED training and your staff can save a life. Considering the many persons visiting and working at most businesses, the risk of a health emergency is present on a daily basis.

City Wide’s training director is an active fire department paramedic and a certified American Safety & Health Institute instructor. All City Wide instructors are EMT certified and carry years of experience in life saving techniques. We will provide training for employees who will respond effectively until paramedics arrive in case of a life-threatening emergency. (Good Samaritan laws protect against liability in cases where trained persons respond using proven life-saving techniques.)

Upon completion, each participant will be tested and will receive nationally recognized certification cards for courses completed.
